2.      APPROVAL OF MAY 2026 MINUTES- MOTION PLEASE:  Laurie moves, Molly seconds approval.  Motion carries.

3.      TREASURER REPORT- MELANIE HAEN:  $12402.51 balance.

4.      COORDINATED ENTRY PRESENTATION - LIZ CROLEY: attached

a.      PIT DATA AND JULY SIGN UP- CURRENTLY 40-45 SIGNED UP.  To sign up, let Liz know.

5.      BOS CONFERENCE IN LA CROSSE, FEB 2-4

a.      RFP PAPERWORK > HIGHLIGHT FOX CITIES COMMUNITY COLLABORATION?  If you are interested in holding a session or working with Liz on a session highlighting our collaboration, let Liz know.  At our December meeting we will pick two agencies and we will pay for registration for one person from each of those two agencies for this conference.

6.      BOS ADVOCACY LEADS: SUSAN GARCIA FRANZ AND CONNIE RAETHER- UPDATE;  New group starting up within the BoS to watch for state and federal legislation that will impact our housing work.  Susan and Connie will share this position. 

7.      COMMITTEE UPDATES

a.      AFFORDABLE HOUSING- SUSAN GARCIA FRANZ;  still doing presentations to groups to educate people about the housing situation and recruit more housing champions.  If you haven’t signed up as a champion, please go to the FCHC website and do so.   Committee meets at 11 a.m. online the first Tuesday of the month. 

b.      COORDINATION AND ENGAGEMENT- LIZ CROLEY;  Finalizing changes in access points and what is involved for prospective access points.

c.      DEI COMMITTEE- TRACIE LA RUE MOEN;  FCHC exec team did not approve the request for a speaker but the speaker will be presenting at the BoS conference, thus presenting to a larger audience.  The committee will fold.  Thanks to Tracie for putting lots of effort into this!

d.      INCREASE IN EMPLOYMENT INCOME- JENNIE MOORE; Will be making this a Coalition effort.

8.      PRESENTATION OF ANNUAL DIGNITY & OPEN DOORS: A FRESH START EVENT JUNE MEETING;  Hoping to have an event (hopefully annual) where people can get together to find many of the resources they need.  Not just another “resource fair,” but more hands on.  Need someone with lived experience on the planning committee.  Each committee would handle their area of need.  Work on taking away barriers for people to attend so needs to be on a bus line and in a space not too overwhelming. 

Rachel moves, Jennie seconds, that we hold this event.  Advocap, AASD, AHA, CAP, Catholic Charities, CVI, City of Appleton, COTS, ESTHER, FHC, First Congregational, First UM, Goodwill, Harbor House, Heads up, Hope Starts Here, Leaven, MP, NAMI, Neighborhood Housing, Reach, Riverview, Salvation Army, ST. Joseph, Winn. Health, Wise Women Gathering, Zion, St. Vincent de Paul, all vote yes. 

a.      Will send a sign up genius link with the minutes for people to sign up. 

9.       OTHER BUSINESS: Fox Cities Housing Alliance is rebranded:  Build Fox Cities Housing Alliance.  Website will launch Monday June 22nd.  Work focused on home ownership.  Hosting a build better workshop focused on zoning.

AASD offers free breakfast and lunch through July 3rd. 

Neenah Public Library also offers free lunch.

AAUW book sale in October.  If you have books to donate, let Laurie know at llmcculloch@gmail.com.

First Five Fox Valley Family Resource Center will open hopefully in October.  Still some space for agencies.
