1.      CALL TO ORDER/ATTENDANCE

2.      APPROVAL OF APRIL 2026 MINUTES-  Change Women Wise to Wise Women.  Lisa moves, Adam seconds approval with noted change.  Motion carries.

3.      TREASURE REPORT- MELANIE HAEN:  $12434.90

a.      BUDGET BREAKDOWN UPON REQUEST

4.      COORDINATED ENTRY PRESENTATION - LIZ CROLEY:

a.      PIT DATA AND JULY SIGN UP:  Please sign up with Liz

5.      PRESENTATION OF ANNUAL DIGNITY & OPEN DOORS: A FRESH START EVENT JUNE MEETING:  Hoping to have this happen end of summer.  Needs and plans below.  If you know employers who are willing to work with our clients, people willing to give haircuts, make food, etc., please let Liz know. 

6.      BOS CONFERECE IN LA CROSSE, FEB 2-4, 2027: There will be an opportunity to sign up if you’d like to host a session, ie. Faith community collaboration, community collaboration, etc.

7.      OUTAGAMIE COUNTY CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER LOOKING FOR FCHC SUPPORT:  Liz will write a letter of support.  They are also looking for volunteers.

8.      COMMITTEE UPDATES

a.      AFFORDABLE HOUSING- RICHARD DODGE:  Made two presentations, one focused on Grand Chute and another to the Historic Central Neighborhood.  Continuing to build network of housing champions, info on website.

b.     COORDINATION AND ENGAGEMENT- LIZ CROLEY:  Created a simplified form for agencies looking to be access points.  Then there will be a flow chart to see what needs exist other than housing to help clients while they wait for housing.

c.      DEI COMMITTEE- TRACIE LA RUE MOEN: Met with exec team about funding a speaker and are hoping to finalize some plans if possible.

d.     INCREASE IN EMPLOYMENT INCOME- JENNIE MOORE:  Still working on ways to do this.

e.     HOUSING ALLIANCE:  KRISTINE GIORNALISTA:  Coming out with a new look, new website (mid-June), more communication.  Have a zoning focus workshop planned for June 24th (invitations will be coming out;  will be “in the weeds” and very technical but if you’d like to attend, contact Kristine at birdhouseconsult@gmail.com).  Did a community land trust survey and waiting for results:  Some tensions about which agency could/should take it on.  Policy agenda will be brought to steering committee  on May 29th.  On a separate note, the My Housing Voice survey is closing on May 25. We have ~200 responses, which is great. We’ll be analyzing data on the housing needs of people with autism, intellectual & developmental disabilities. https://www.keyswi.org/  Thanks!

11. OTHER BUSINESS; Impact of NEWCAP closure:  Outagamie Co. hasn’t absorbed many of the impacted clients but hard to get in touch with clients due to them no longer having case managers.  Brown County has come together to ensure clients are served.  Many clients served by NEWCAP through co-ordinated entry are being helped by the BoS.

12. EVENTS COMING UP –

§  Touch a Truck for families May 21 from 4-7 at Appleton Memorial Park.

§  Ending gerrymandering May 21st 7 p.m. Neenah Methodist Church

§  Ending gerrymandering rally May 21 at Houdini at 5:3

§  AAUW book sale will be held again in October.  Bring any books you’d like to donate to the in person June FCHC meeting.
